This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.

They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problem.

  • While there are no entry requirements defined in the training package, the RTO requires the following criteria to be met.
  • Admission Requirement: Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement.
  • Academic Requirement: As a minimum of Diploma qualification in business / management or demonstrated industry experience (in 2 Years of business or Management role such as team leader). 
  • For students that do not have English as their first language:
    •   Certificate III in EAL or
    •   IELTS overall band score of 5.5 or PTE score of 42 or 
    • equivalent

 

Note: Alternatively, Students may demonstrate their Language, Literacy and Numeracy requirement through an LLN assessment test.

Deliver mode

Most the training is based on face-to-face classroom delivery including interactive classroom teaching.Face-to-face delivery of 20 hours per week and which may include weekday, evening and weekend timetables.

Candidates who have completed Diploma qualification within business or management sector or significant vocational experience in leadership and management roll and want to build pathways to further educational or employment opportunities.
